Climate Resiliency Workshop

Are you concerned about the air quality inside your home and want to plan ahead during a wildfire/extreme heat event?

The City of Kelowna, in collaboration with the BC Lung Foundation is offering two FREE workshops on Wednesday, May 27 at the Rutland Library for Kelowna residents to build their own air purifier and emergency grab & go bag. Participants learn to construct simple, effective air purifiers and assemble their own grab & go bag. There will also be information about the risks of wildfire smoke, how to reduce exposure, and how to be prepared in the event of a climate emergency.
