UBCO Teach-In on Climate and Justice
The UBC Okanagan Teach-In on Climate and Justice is an annual event that brings together students, faculty, staff and community members to explore the intersections of climate change and social justice.
As part of the Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Week, the initiative fosters dialogue, learning, and action on pressing environmental and societal issues.
Overview
The Teach-In features a variety of activities, including:
- Info fairs that showcase climate and justice research and initiatives
- Presentations by experts from UBCO and the City of Kelowna
- Interactive discussions focused on implementing climate knowledge within the campus and the broader community
These events aim to inform, engage and inspire participants to contribute to collective climate solutions.
